The Train Teapot is an evocative representation of the streamlined record-breaking locomotives of the 1930s. When the Mallard, designed by Sir Nigel Gresley, shattered the world record for a steam-driven train, at 126 mph, this teapot was created to celebrate the achievement. The Train Teapot is finished in a choice of glaze, and is highlighted in platinum lustre, which is applied by hand by our skilled decorators.
